Meet Marnie
Hi!
Hey!
Hello!
My name is Marnie Sanders and I am the founder of Minke & Co.
My Story
I started Minke & Co in 2025 to sell the clothes and items I was looking for but couldn’t find, showcase the work of other women-owned businesses, and to provide period products to those “experiencing homelessness, fleeing from domestic violence, and doing it tough”.
The name Minke & Co came from my family. They used to call me “Mink”, which later turned into “Minke” (you know how Australian nicknames are!) and it stuck.
My Mission
According to Share the Dignity’s Bloody Big Survey completed in 2024, “64% of menstruators have struggled to afford period products due to the cost”.
Minke & Co aims to not only sell good quality products but also reduce the number of menstruators that have struggled to afford period products by donating a percentage of my profits to Share the Dignity.
Share the Dignity is an Australian organisation that provides girls and women experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, and domestic violence with period products through initiatives like Dignity Drives, the #ItsInTheBag campaign, and by installing Dignity Vending Machines. They have additionally partnered with Period Talk to provide menstruation education to students in Years 5–8.

When I am not working, you can find me walking my dogs Honey and Maggie, getting a sweet treat, baking, and watching movies and TV shows (my current favourites are Notting Hill, About Time, Girl Boss, and Boy Swallows Universe).
